Awards

We are very proud of the fact that for the 4th consecutive year altcineAction! continues offering awards of a highly educational and career-evolving nature.

With Prizes totaling over than 50.000 Euros in production grants and services rewarding the top three films, and professional software for Editing and Cinematography, altcineAction! Online Short Film Festival for Balkan Filmmakers’ 4th edition will once again seek and find the best of the next generation of Balkan directors!

And as every year, the audience is the jury that highlights the Festival’s winners. We are more than happy to announce that this year, our innovative Best Critic Award expands, it spreads over the Balkans and becomes The 5C Project. Five young up-and-coming critics from all over the world will have the unique opportunity to join the cine-caravan and travel to four Balkan cities, where they will meet the local film culture, they will attend workshops on writing and film literacy and of course they will have the chance to share their experience online.

Join the action now to win all the amazing awards altcineAction! offers and find out about the new “surprise” prizes we have in store for you!
